I think the reason people focus so much on doubts is because without the doubt, I couldn’t live the way I’m living. If the gospel is true then I can’t be selfish anymore, I can’t be small anymore. It means my life has a meaning and I have to do something with that. Sometimes going round and round with my doubts is easier than thinking about that.
